L&A: Vietnamese Wedding at Zanders, Dallas
Meet Lynda and Anthony - I’ve known her for many years now from back in my days as a club photographer…so for them to ask me to photograph their Vietnamese Wedding in Dallas, I was totally honored and humbled!
Funny story, they actually met at another wedding I had photographed in Richardson a few years back so to see their love life unfold before me was quite the experience - they’re huge football fans so a part of their engagement session was actually at the Frisco Cowboys practice facility.
Anyways, please enjoy the preview of their day and special thanks to my team and to the following vendors!

WEDDING | PATRICK & EMMA | MODERN MUSEUM OF ART | Ft. WORTH, TX
I first met Patrick when we used to work together at Methodist and he had recently moved down from Minnesota. They brought him in because he was a genius and I wasn't doing enough work...or something like that ;) We'd always go to happy hours afterwards and talk about everything from politics to work to girls and how difficult it was to meet someone down to earth here in Dallas. I would agree with him, nod my head and order another round. After I left my day job, I ran into him again at Community Brewery in Dallas and...lo and behold! He has a beautiful lady wrapped around his arms, Emma! We caught up over a round of beers and I could tell he was quite smitten by her. Fast forward and he calls me up one day for Happy Hour...and to ask me to shoot his wedding! Of course I was honored to...I knew I would have a lot of fun because the wedding would be at the Museum of Modern Art in Ft Worth! Emma told me that we would have TOTAL creative freedom over our process and that she did not want to hold us back. So with our teams' creative juices flowing...we got to work. We cannot express how much fun we had that night capturing all of the emotions, the love that Patrick & Emma had for each other and their friends and family. And for me specifically, just getting to see all my old friends again. What a night, so much fun! Big thanks to Bumble Bee Occassions for helping us with our day, the Modern Art of Fort Worth for hosting, the Stevie James Trio and Pastor Dave Tucker for officiating duties! And biggest thanks of course to my team-mate and friend Robert Yu!
Wedding | Perla & Mark | Hidden Springs Event | Aubrey, TX
How fortunate that I got the chance to photograph Mark & Perla's wedding - and by total serendipity! We first met at a volunteering event in the late summer of 2015. We were putting school bags together when we were both assigned to count the (1000!) bags as the team were making them. I'm not sure if you guys have ever counted to 1000, but let me tell you...it's not that easy! Through passing conversation we learned a little more about each other...including the fact that Mark was getting married soon and so we exchanged information. Well that day finally arrived and well...I was pretty excited because of their excitement as well - I love the energy that they have for each other and I feed off of that! You can't help but feed off of that energy behind the camera. It's a very special for photographers to be behind the camera on days like this! Please take a look and join in our celebration for Mark & Perla!
Big thanks to my friend Charles for keeping me on my toes and Hidden Springs Event for their fantastic venue!

Donny & Noy's Big Day in Deep Ellum - Dallas, TX!!
When I first decided to become a full-time professional wedding photographer, some of the largest support I ever got with this decision came from my amazing friends, Donny & Noy. I've known them collectively for over 15 years starting in High School and their first words to me were "Well it's about damn time!" Well...I'm sure the words were close enough as we were probably a few drinks in by then... ;) To show me how much they cared and supported my decision, they were also my first clients I booked way back in the Fall of 2014 when I became the full-time photographer. Needless to say, I was very grateful and happy to be part of their big day when October 10th finally came around! Enough words, see some love instead :)
