Portraits | Kevin & Bebe's Pre-Wedding Portraits | Washington State | Kevin & Bebe
#throwbackthrusday
I love a sense of adventure, freedom, and risk when taking photographs - Although I believe in the motto "All you need is love" to take a wonderfully captive moment, I will never deny that having a new and unique location will add a bit of 'zest' to that photo. So when Bebe asked me to photography photos where she and her fiance first went hiking...I was happy to grab my cameras, pack my bags and fly to Portland and drive 2 hours to do some hiking ;)
And well...it was quite an adventure for sure...the first day, I arrived - Kevin "officially" proposed to Bebe which surprised everyone - how perfect is that? You can see those images here:

As we continue to hang out and I get to learn more about their incredible relationship - how they met, where they hung out, how they fell for each other...I too soon caught the bug. Not the good bug, but the one that causes sneezes, fevers and coughing. And with that scratch of the throat, off I climb! 2.5 miles up the side of a mountain. Poor Kevin had a wedding dress to carry while me and Mun from Mun Li's Photography carried all the camera equipment. And of course, all Bebe had to do was look amazing like she always does ;) But when we took sight of the views...everything just melted away and only pure beauty remained - all we wanted to do was to be part of the moment and enjoy creating some amazing art...what a great day we had! Special thanks to Mun Li for helping me get around. If you ever need a photographer in the PDX area - I can't recommend her enough!

If you're a fan of Back to the Future, you know today's when Marty & Doc Brown goes into the Future in Part 2. Well, I might as well re-post a set from when I did an engagement session with the Back to the Future DeLorean ;) Enjoy! Thanks to Bob's Prop Shop for lending us the car, the groom for adding the graphics and of course to them for wanting to do something like this!

I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves...I really have nothing to say ;) Who would've thought we would become such great friends after meeting for the first time over photos...! I love these 2 and I'm overjoyed they've finally tied the knot and was there to witness the tears, the happiness, the joy...and the big party! Engagement | Bebe & Kevin's Portland Engagement Session | Cannon Beach | Portland, Oregon
Bebe is one my biggest fans in the world and I'm one of hers as well. We both met as business professionals starting a business (which is scary!) and soon became great friends. I love her and her amazing talents to death. If you ever need an amazing make-up artist, please touch base with her at BMadeByBebe! So when she told me she had met the man of her dreams and they were getting married...well...I knew exactly what I had to do! We sat, we talked, we discussed about flying me out to Portland, Oregon...where Kevin and Bebe first met. And then we got our scheduled figured out and made it happen...Having never met Kevin before, I didn't know what to expect. But when he picked me up from the airport and we started chatting, I knew I was going to like the guy a lot. Well, he also told me a little secret on the way there..."Hey, I know I'm just now meeting you for the first time...but when we do these photos...can you take pictures of our proposal too?" Wait...what? AWESOME! I get to take photos of the proposal too! Have I mentioned how much I love what I do? :) So on the way, we pick up Mun and begin to head out to Cannon Beach. Mun Li is one of Bebe's best friends and an amazingly talented photographer out in Portland - I wish I could visit more often so I could go shooting with her more often but that's another story for another time. If you need a photographer in that part of the country as well, look her up! Well...enough talk, let's get to the photos! Plus...how cool is that sea-gull? Apparently he wanted in on the action as well ;)
