When MLB Network presenter Stephen Nelson And Emmy Award winning News Anchor for FOX DC Cori Coffin asked me to photograph their incredible wedding in Texas, I was incredibly honored and humbled. Actually...can you keep a secret? I actually didn't even know they were incredible anchors on big time network TV until AFTER the wedding...and they added me on Instagram! Pie in my face...when I chatted with them over the phone, I asked them all sorts of questions and they only casually mentioned they were in TV. What they DID talk about was their incredible love story, how he proposed to her (it was the sweetest thing!) and how incredibly important friends and family were to them. In fact, Stephen's Best Man was his Father....on Father's Day. How cool is that?! Just the most humble, down to earth folks ever. I am so glad they chose me to tell their story through photos...and I think as you go through the photos, you'll see how much emotion there was throughout the day. When I was editing their photos...I kept reliving their entire day, all the crying, dancing and singing...what a day!

Stacy & Duc are one of my most favorite couples...the sweetest story! High-school sweet-hearts who have been together forever and will probably be together for many more. Back when they were going to college, Duc would often accompany Stacy's family on vacations and one of their favorite spots was to visit Yosemite. So it did not take much to convince them that doing an engagement and bridal session at Yosemite would be absolutely epic! Enjoy!

Rupal's - Dallas Maverick's Engagement

When we met Rupal & Tik, you could tell they were big sports fans...especially fans of the Dallas Mavericks. Tik casually mentioned that he had season passes to the Dallas Mavericks and so I planted the seed in his head that perhaps...we should photograph at the American Airlines Center. He was pretty ecstatic by that idea! Could we get in? How were we going to pull this off? Well...as you can tell by the images...we made it work ;)
Of course afterwards, we finished up our day in Deep Ellum. Couldn't ask for a more fun engagement session!

Bebe & Kevin's Surprise Proposal in Portland, Oregon! So Bebe & Kevin fell in love with each other so quickly...they decided to just go straight to the engagement session, skipping the proposal. Well...that's not what Kevin had in mind. I had never met Kevin before, but Bebe had fallen in love with my work so they flew me out to Portland to do an engagement session. Kevin secretly told me to be ready for the proposal....well half way into our session...they're totally getting into each other without any direction from me...and well, I had to gently remind Kevin that he had to propose, hah! What a great time. These images are directly from both the proposal and engagement session and the next day when they had a bridal session in Washington State. Poor Kevin had to carry the dress on a 2.5 mile hike! But I think the results were worth it ;)

Now THIS was an interesting photoshoot! Blair and Sean met while working at this bar in Arlington, Texas. They loved the bar and it had a very special meaning to them. Well, Sean wanted especially to do a "Dapper Dan" type of shoot. If you meet him, you can see why. He's a very determined and focused person and doesn't seem to let anything slow him down from what he wants. So we thought we'd do a shoot that showed them meeting over the bar and slowly transitioning until they fell for each other. Blair LOVED the photos and said she was blown away. I'm happy because honestly...this is one of the toughest shoots I've ever done! It's definitely a 'hole in the wall' bar and quite the challenge to shoot in. Everyone is surprised to find out it's "The Caves" in Arlington!

Jessica & Garrett's Engagement Session in Cancun, Mexico! What a wonderful trip this engagement session was - we both went exploring in Puerto Morales in Mexico and we found this small little town. We went into these restaurants & shops and the owners were so kind to us! They showed us out back and new and colorful places we'd not have found otherwise. They were very accommodating and friendly! Later on, back on the beach...we decided to get wet ;) Enjoy the photos!

Indian Weddings are amazing…so much color, fun and energy…surrounded by your favorite family & friends…! What more can you ask for? Rupal and Tik found me after I had photographed their friend’s wedding and they knew that they had wanted me to photograph their wedding as well. What an honor! Since Indian weddings are generally 3 days long with many different activities, I have seperated their days into individual galleries. Please enjoy!
